Job workshops for teens

Putting your teenager to work, now there is a great idea.

The City is offering free training at the Mesa Library. Presented by Career Services and the City of Mesa Library, teens ages 13 to 18 can learn vital skills such as communication, how to write a resume and interview techniques. All workshops are held at the Main Library, 64 E. First St.

The 4 week series begins Tuesday, Sept. 22 and will end on Oct. 13. The following topics will be covered:

Sept. 22 - Self-Esteem and Communication
Sept. 29 - Job Seeking
Oct. 6 - Resumes
Oct. 13 - Interview Prep

Workshops start at 4:30 p.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m.
