Synchronize PAF 5 & Ancestral Quest

On January 21st, we have a unique opportunity to hear directly from Gaylon Findlay, the president of Incline Software. Gaylon has been developing Ancestral Quest (AQ) for the last 16 years. In 1999, he gave a copy of the AQ code to the LDS Church, who then made a few adjustments and changed the name to PAF.

For the last 3 years, he has worked closely with FamilySearch to provide the synchronization capabilities which connect PAF data to NFS.

Come learn how to synchronize records in a PAF 5 or AQ file with the records in new.FamilySearch.org (NFS).

Learn to quickly match groups of records, individuals and families, and to analyze and synchronize details of individuals and families.  Learn how to quickly combine duplicate records in NFS using the tools in this FamilySearch Certified PAF add-in.

Learn how to keep track of LDS Ordinances, directly from NFS into a PAF or AQ file.

The sessions will be held:
-          Thursday Jan 21, 2010:  3:00 p.m. at the Family History Training Center 464 E. 1st Ave
(across the street on the West side of the temple)
-          Thursday, Jan 21, 2010:  7:00 p.m. at the Olive Ward Building 525 E. 2nd Avenue
(across the street on the South side of the temple)

Please call the Family History Center at 480-964-1200 to reserve a seat. Seating is limited (particularly in the 3:00 PM presentation)
