Things To Do in the Air

If you like airplanes, helicopters, or just about anything that defies gravity check out these events at  www.rxforfun.com/rccalendar. These are great fun for kids of all ages.

The Arizona Electric Festival, Jan 28-31, is real close and a lot of fun to watch. It is held at the Superstition Air Park in Usery Park. The last time I was there I got to watch a helicopter smash into a thousand pieces when he clipped a rotor on the ground doing inverted flight. Cost of this is around $5 per carload if I remember correctly. You can get more information here.

The Electric Flight Expo, March 12-14, is also great. It is held in the Cardinals Stadium and they have exhibits, competition flying, and hands-on training outside. Check out their site, www.efexpo.com, for more information.
