Amazing Family Tradition

My family thinks I have gone bonkers because I have joined Twitter. I joined Twitter about 2 months ago while attending the Family History Expo in Mesa. I had set down at the Blogger’s table and found that they were all tweeting about the classes they were attending. So I joined Twitter and followed the other classes as well. I have found a ton of information via Twitter just by following the Genealogy tags and several of the Genealogy bloggers who also tweet.

In any case, the other day there were several mentions of an article in The New York Times, A Father-Daughter Bond, Page by Page. I thought it was a great example of a father remembering what is important, his family. They read from over 700 books in more then nine years. Never missed a night.

I really liked his quote: “If you love to read, you’ll probably go to college, maybe for free. You’ll get a better job, get a higher income, live longer.”

What are your family traditions?
