Celebrate Tau Day

6.28 is Tau Day. I'm not sure how to celebrate, but I guess I will eat 2 pies.

Tau is the ratio of circumference to radius of a circle, and circles are more naturally defined by their radius than diameter.

To see understand this more clearly check out the Tau Manifesto,

As the Manifesto points out, 2π occurs frequently in mathematics, such as the Fourier Transform:

f(x)=F(k)e2πikxdk
F(k)=f(x)e2πikxdx.

Now to go look for some pie...
