The City of Mesa, in collaboration with Maricopa Workforce Connections and Maximum Arizona, is hosting a Job Fair Thursday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Main Library, 64 E. First St.

The Job Fair is free and open to the public.  It will focus on customer service, sales and administrative opportunities.

Approximately 22 employers are expected to participate.  Employers will provide information about upcoming openings and may interview on the spot! Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes.

SRP Outage Updates Online

I'm not sure how helpful this is but SRP has a new online service that lets you view outage information from your My Account page. Of course, this assumes you have access to the Internet when you do not have power. Nevertheless...

To use the service make sure you have gone to srpnet.com/myaccount and created a username and password. Then select "Outages & Storms" to show a map of your area. You can zoom out to eight miles around your house. Pushpins on the map indicate an outage. Mouse over the pin to read outage details, such as affected areas and the estimated time of restoration.
