Mesa Summer Youth Activities

Image result for city of mesa logoMesa Parks and Recreation offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of family members. 

All programs are staffed with individuals trained in CPR, First aid, Child Development and Recreation Programming. Staff must pass a background check prior to being placed with your child.  

Field trip transportation is secured through Mesa Public School Transportation. Swimming sites visited are Mesa Parks Aquatics facilities.  Many staff have participated in city of Mesa summer programs and want your child to have positive fun experiences which they had.

There are some great looking programs:

Fit Kids - This summer fitness program is devoted to education youth about the importance of healthy living.  Participants will learn about nutrition and physical fitness through special speakers, recreational activities and field trips.

Play-Well TEKnologies using LEGO - Work with Play-Well instructors to create super machines, villages, castles, and learn concepts of engineering and architecture.

Masterminds/Masterpieces - A variety of activities designed to keep your child’s interest and expose him/her to new recreation activities.  Programming includes music, crafts and group games.

My First Camp - A variety of activities designed to keep your child’s interest and expose him/her to new recreation activities.  Programming includes music, crafts and group games.

Wiggles and Giggles - A variety of activities designed to keep your child’s interest and expose him/her to new recreation activities.  Programming includes music, crafts and group games.

Safety Town - A variety of activities designed to teach your child safety rules before they enter school.  Includes bike safety, bus safety, water safety and much more.

All Sports Camp - A program where registrants will participate in sport activities through individual and team games.

Boredom Busters - A program where registrants will participate in activities that include crafts, games, PE skills, guest speakers, movies, theme events and swimming once a week.

Teen Leadership Training - The TLT program trains teens with hands on training for future employment by having them assist at our various summer camps. 

Summer Adventure Program - This all day program offers activities that include crafts, games, PE skills, guest speakers, movies, theme events, swimming twice a week, and field trip.
