September's watering reminder from the City of Mesa:
You may or may not have gotten the rains that have accompanied the recent storms. The UofA Arizona Meteorological Network shows rainfall amounts for the violent August 31 storm that hit Phoenix as 1.98 inches of rain at the Phoenix Encanto weather station vs. a mere .02 inches at the Mesa station. Visit the site and check out your closest weather station results (click under the heading of “Standard Reports” 2015 "Monthly" and scroll to August).
These recommendations are for plants that are established in the landscape (in the ground about 2 years).
